Weilan New Energy completes development of semi-solid-state battery

Weilan New Energy has completed the development of semi-solid batteries using in-situ solidification technology, which are suitable for high-nickel ternary positive electrodes. The company cooperates with car companies such as NIO and Geely. Among them, the ET7 model launched by NIO is equipped with a 150kWh battery pack supplied by Weilan New Energy, with a measured range of more than 1,000 kilometers. Weilan New Energy plans to start mass production and delivery in the second quarter of 2024.
