ASE and Hongjing Construction cooperate to build K28 plant

ASE Semiconductor, a subsidiary of ASE Technology Holding, announced that it will jointly build the K28 plant with Hongjing Construction in Kaohsiung, which is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026. The plant will focus on advanced packaging terminal testing and high-performance computing of artificial intelligence (AI) chips.
