BMW plans to build all-electric cars at U.S. plant

German automaker BMW plans to start producing all-electric vehicles at its Spartanburg plant in the United States in 2026, and plans to produce at least six electric vehicle models at the plant by 2030. The all-electric SUV model will begin production at the end of 2026.
