China's new energy vehicle battery exports are growing steadily

In December 2024, my country exported 21.9GWh of power and other batteries, down 0.3% from the previous month and up 12.4% from the previous year. The total exports accounted for 17.3% of the sales volume that month. Among them, the export volume of power batteries was 12.9GWh, accounting for 59.2% of the total exports, up 3.6% from the previous month and down 7.0% from the previous year; the export volume of other batteries was 8.9GWh, accounting for 40.8% of the total exports, down 5.4% from the previous month and up 61.5% from the previous year. From January to December, the cumulative export of power and other batteries in my country reached 197.1GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 29.2%.
