China's new energy vehicle battery production and sales continue to grow

According to data from the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, in December 2024, the total output of power and other batteries in my country was 124.5GWh, a month-on-month increase of 5.7% and a year-on-year increase of 60.2%. From January to December, the cumulative output of power and other batteries in my country was 1.096.8GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 41.0%. In terms of sales, in December, the sales volume of power and other batteries in my country was 126.6GWh, a month-on-month increase of 7.0% and a year-on-year increase of 40.4%. Among them, the sales volume of power batteries was 96.4GWh, accounting for 76.1% of the total sales volume, a month-on-month increase of 9.8% and a year-on-year increase of 33.7%; the sales volume of other batteries was 30.2GWh, accounting for 23.9% of the total sales volume, a month-on-month decrease of 1.0% and a year-on-year increase of 67.3%.
