Inner Mongolia, Guangxi and Jilin provinces rank among the top three in terms of reserve allocation in China

Among the 874 wind power projects approved in China by 2024, Inner Mongolia, Guangxi and Jilin provinces ranked the top three in terms of storage capacity. Inner Mongolia has approved the largest number of wind power projects, totaling 105, with a total scale of about 34.5GW and a storage capacity of about 5.2GW/20.7GWh. Guangxi has approved a total of 74 wind power projects, with a total scale of about 8.5GW and a storage capacity of about 1.7GW/3.4GWh. Although Jilin has approved fewer projects, its storage capacity ranks third, at about 1.3GW/2.6GWh.
