ByteDance and Broadcom collaborate to develop 5nm AI chips

According to the latest news, ByteDance is working with US chip design company Broadcom to develop an advanced 5nm process AI chip. This cooperation is expected to ensure ByteDance's supply of high-end chips amid tensions between China and the United States. This AI chip is an ASIC chip that uses 5nm process technology and is manufactured by TSMC, which complies with US export control requirements. Nvidia chips worth US$2 billion have been purchased in 2023. However, ByteDance has officially denied the news.
