Jinzhong City plans the development goals of methanol vehicles and related industries

Jinzhong City plans to achieve the goal of producing 100,000 methanol passenger cars annually, preparing 1 million tons of methanol annually, building more than 100 methanol filling stations, producing 50,000 methanol heavy trucks annually, and building 5 methanol economic towns by 2025, in order to build an economic ecology of the entire chain of "vehicles, alcohol, transportation, stations, and capture". Geely Jinzhong Base has successively launched a series of products such as methanol heavy trucks, light trucks, buses, small and micro trucks, and sedans to meet different market needs. Since the country's first methanol heavy truck production line with an annual output of 10,000 units was put into operation in 2022, the city has promoted more than 3,000 methanol heavy trucks and sold them all over the country, becoming a leader in the industry.
