On June 22, 2023, the "Zhongjing Xinyuan" project, the first batch of provincial digital industry key projects in 2023, which is the result of the cooperation between Shandong University and Jinan City, held a launch ceremony. The total investment of the project is 1.5 billion yuan, and an 8-inch silicon carbide substrate production base will be built in Caishi Street, Licheng District, Jinan City.
