Europe is building 15 large-scale battery factories to meet demand for electric vehicles

There are 15 large battery factories under construction in Europe, including Swedish company Northvolt's plants in Sweden and Germany, Chinese battery maker CATL's plant in Germany, and South Korean company SK Innovation's second plant in Hungary. These factories are expected to produce enough batteries to supply at least 6 million electric vehicles by 2025.
