Aptera Motors receives 50,000 orders for solar-powered electric vehicles

Aptera Motors' solar-powered electric car has received more than 50,000 pre-orders after successfully completing a series of test drives. The company's solar-powered electric car uses a combination of solar panels and battery packs as a power source, with a range of up to 400 miles on a single charge, and can provide an additional 40 miles of range through a day of solar charging.
