The United States bans the sale of Chinese connected car software and hardware

The US government announced that it will completely ban the sale and import of Chinese-made connected car software and hardware systems and connected cars starting in 2027. This move stems from the protection of sensitive US information, especially geolocation data, audio and video recordings, and other life pattern analysis.
