Europe and China drive global PHEV adoption

The strong performance of the European and Chinese markets has driven the global PHEV adoption rate. These two regions accounted for 90% of PHEV sales last year, while the US market performed relatively weakly. In Europe, models such as Volvo XC60 and Ford Kuga are popular with consumers; while in the Chinese market, PHEV models of brands such as BYD have outstanding sales performance.
