Zijin Mining invests 500 million yuan to develop cutting-edge technologies such as all-solid-state batteries

The Zijin Changsha New Energy and New Materials Experimental Base, a project under Zijin Mining, officially started construction in Yuelu High-tech Zone, Xiangjiang New District, Hunan, with a planned investment of 500 million yuan. The project mainly tackles international cutting-edge technologies including lithium-ion batteries, all-solid-state batteries, water electrolysis for hydrogen production, and rubidium, cesium, and molybdenum materials application research. The comprehensive R&D building is expected to be fully completed and put into use by the end of 2025.
