The China Passenger Car Association recommends merging blue and green license plates to achieve “oil and water rights”

162
The China Passenger Car Association suggested merging blue license plates (fuel vehicle license plates) and green license plates (new energy vehicle license plates), and implementing the same traffic restriction policy for new energy vehicles as fuel vehicles to achieve "fuel and vehicle parity". This suggestion was made against the backdrop of a new energy vehicle penetration rate of about 35%, in order to gain more living space for fuel vehicles.
