According to reports, Nissan's plant in Wuhan is expected to start producing electric vehicles for China's Dongfeng Motor by the end of this year. The move is aimed at reducing Nissan's fixed costs and improving the plant's operating efficiency. The plant has already put into production models such as X-Trail, X-Trail e-Power and Araya, with an estimated annual production capacity of 300,000 vehicles.
