An executive of a leading Chinese optical company said that the threshold of the automotive camera module market is not high, so it has attracted many manufacturers to participate. International Tier 1 companies such as Bosch and Continental have obvious competitive advantages, mainly due to their rich automotive product lines, years of accumulated resources and deep understanding of the logic of car manufacturing. At present, domestic suppliers such as Sunny Optical, O-Film, Q Technology, and Lianchuang Electronics have surpassed Tier 1 companies such as Desay SV and Hikvision in terms of shipments of automotive camera modules.
