eVTOL is mainly composed of motors, airframe structural parts, avionics systems and flight control, batteries, etc. Among them, the propulsion system (motor), airframe structure and internal components, avionics and flight control account for the largest value, 40%, 25%, and 20% respectively. The battery is the component with the highest single cost of eVTOL, accounting for more than 60% of the total operating cost. Compared with drones and helicopters, eVTOL has the advantages of low carbon and environmental protection, low noise, low cost, no need for runways, and good stability, making it a mainstream solution for urban air traffic.
