Porsche Taycan electric car recall

Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. announced the recall of some imported Taycan series electric vehicles, totaling 1,590 vehicles. The reason for the recall is that a short circuit may occur inside the high-voltage power battery module, which may cause thermal runaway of the battery module in extreme cases, posing a risk of fire. Since its launch in 2020, Porsche Taycan has sold more than 150,000 units worldwide.
