Warehouse robotics company Symbotic plans to acquire Walmart's robotics business

Symbotic, a warehouse robotics company, announced plans to acquire Walmart's advanced systems and robotics business for $200 million in cash. The acquisition includes a $520 million development plan from Walmart to Symbotic. If performance standards are met, Walmart will purchase and deploy systems for 400 accelerated pickup and delivery systems over a period of years.
