Sungrow helps Atlas build the largest independent energy storage power station in Latin America

Sungrow has partnered with Atlas Renewable Energy, the largest independent power producer in Latin America, to provide PowerTitan liquid-cooled energy storage systems for its BESS del Desierto 880MWh energy storage power station in Chile. The project is located in the Atacama Desert in Chile and aims to help Chile achieve its 100% clean energy goal by 2050. After the power station is completed, it is expected to inject an additional 280GWh of electricity into the Chilean power grid each year, effectively alleviating local power shortages.
