NXP releases S32N55 processor to promote the development of intelligent vehicles

NXP launched the S32N55 processor in March 2024, the first product in the S32N series of ultra-high integration processors for automotive use. The S32N55 processor focuses on achieving secure central real-time control, with 16 Arm® Cortex®-R52 real-time processor cores and 2 lock-step Arm® Cortex®-M7 cores running at 1.2GHz. This processor uses TSMC's 5nm process technology, supports LPDDR4X/5/5X DRAM and NAND/NOR flash memory interfaces for expansion, and supports memory error correction and inline encryption to meet functional safety and security requirements.
