Bowang High-tech Zone and China Sodium Times signed a cooperation agreement

Recently, the Management Committee of Bowang High-tech Zone, Ma'anshan City, Anhui Province, and Zhongna Times (Shenzhen) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. officially signed a contract. Zhongna Times will invest in a new energy battery R&D and production project with a total investment of 2 billion yuan in Bowang High-tech Zone. The project includes the construction of a 0.5GWh sodium-ion battery semi-automatic pilot line and a 5GWh Pack production line in the first phase, and a 3GWh sodium-ion battery automatic production line in the second phase. After the project is fully put into production, the annual revenue is expected to be no less than 1.8 billion yuan and the tax payment is no less than 60 million yuan. In November 2023, Zhongna Times signed a cooperation agreement with Hedong Economic Development Zone, Linyi City, Shandong Province, and plans to invest in the construction of an annual output of 2.5GWh sodium-ion batteries and an annual output of 5GWh Pack+ energy storage projects in Hedong Economic Development Zone, with a total investment of 740 million yuan. This move will further expand Zhongna Times' market share in the field of new energy vehicles.
