Indian battery system company EMO Energy completes $6.2 million Series A financing

Indian battery system company EMO Energy recently completed a $6.2 million Series A financing, led by Subhkam Ventures, with participation from existing investor Transition VC. This is EMO Energy's second round of financing following a $1.2 million seed round in May 2024. EMO Energy's customers include brands such as Kinetic Green, Big Basket, Domino's and Blinkit. They plan to use the funds to expand their advanced battery solutions for electric vehicles (EVs) and energy storage systems, with the goal of expanding their urban energy ecosystem. In the next two years, they plan to deploy services to 100,000 two-wheeled and three-wheeled vehicles and deploy 1GWh of battery energy storage.
