Suzhou Shiguang Chip Technology Completes Pre-A+ Round of Financing to Boost the Development of Autonomous Driving Technology

Recently, Suzhou Shiguang Xinke Technology Co., Ltd. announced the completion of its Pre-A+ round of financing, with investors including Hegao Capital and Xingqi Fund. The financing will be used for product advancement and team building, especially to provide SPAD-SoC chips and related dToF three-dimensional perception technologies for terminal applications such as autonomous driving, robots, and XR. Shiguang Xinke's full-chip and fully digital on-chip integration technology is expected to break through the limitations of existing lidar in terms of performance, appearance, reliability and cost, and promote the widespread application of three-dimensional perception. Through full-chip and fully digital on-chip system integration, Shiguang Xinke integrates key modules such as high-performance back-illuminated single photon avalanche diodes (BSI SPADs), high-precision clock sampling matrices (TDCs), single-photon ranging engines (TCSPCs), high-concurrency dToF perception algorithm accelerators (DSPs), lidar control units (MCUs) and high-speed data interfaces into a single chip, realizing full digital data collection and real-time on-chip processing of massive data.
