Chery Automobile has established a new R&D institution in Changshu, Jiangsu Province, named "Changshu Qizhi R&D Partnership (Limited Partnership)". The executive partner is Shanghai Shikejia Vehicle Technology R&D Co., Ltd., with an investment of RMB 4 billion. Chery holds a 25% stake, while local state-owned assets hold a 75% stake.
