TSMC suspends business with Singaporean company PowerAIR for violating US export restrictions

According to relevant media reports, TSMC has discovered that a Singaporean customer may have violated the US export restrictions on chips and has cut off business with the company. This is the second customer that TSMC has singled out for possible violations of the ban. After discovering that a chip manufactured by TSMC was used in an artificial intelligence (AI) processor from a major manufacturer, TSMC launched a customer investigation and eventually ended its partnership with a low-profile Singaporean company, PowerAIR.
