Main categories and applications of OBC

OBC is mainly divided into three types: unidirectional OBC, bidirectional OBC and integrated OBC. Unidirectional OBC can only convert AC power into DC power to charge the power battery; in addition to the charging function of unidirectional OBC, bidirectional OBC can also realize V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) vehicle-to-load power supply and other functions; integrated OBC integrates OBC with DC/DC converter, PDU (Power Distribution Unit), etc., to improve the performance and reliability of the whole vehicle.
