ASE considers expanding production in Mexico

ASE Technology, the world's largest integrated circuit packaging and testing service provider, is considering expanding production in Mexico. CEO Wu Tianyu said that geopolitical tensions and global supply chain restructuring have prompted the company to consider expanding production in Mexico, the United States and Japan. ASE has purchased land in Mexico and plans to jointly establish an automated electronics and power device supply chain with its local subsidiary, Universal Scientific Industrial (Shanghai).
