Geely increases investment in power battery field, with an investment of over 130 billion

In recent years, Geely Auto has continuously increased its investment in the field of power batteries. According to statistics, since March 2019, Geely has invested in 12 battery projects in China, with a cumulative investment of more than 130 billion yuan. Among them, the investment in the four projects in Yingtan, Tonglu, Yancheng and Quzhou, which will be implemented in 2022, accounts for about 31% of the total investment. For example, the Quzhou Jidian project was put into production in mid-December last year. It took only a few months from signing to starting construction. After full production, it will have the production capacity of battery cells, batteries, electric drives and energy storage systems.
