Nexperia increases investment in Hamburg plant, Germany, with headcount growing to 1,600

Nexperia, a subsidiary of Wingtech Technology, has invested heavily in its Hamburg plant in Germany since it was spun off from NXP in 2017. Currently, the number of employees at the plant has increased from 950 to about 1,600, supporting about a quarter of the world's demand for small signal diodes and transistors. The company has more than 14,000 employees in Europe, Asia and the United States, and its semiconductor products are widely used in automotive, industrial, mobile and consumer fields, with annual product shipments exceeding 100 billion units.
