SMIC, Changxin Memory and other companies plan to build 10 more wafer fabs by the end of 2024

Companies such as SMIC, Foundry, Changxin Memory, and Silan Microelectronics plan to build 10 more fabs by the end of 2024, including nine 12-inch and one 8-inch fab, bringing the total number of large-scale fabs to 32, all focused on mature processes.
