STMicroelectronics Launches STM32N6 Series, First Microcontroller to Integrated Custom Neural Processing Unit

STMicroelectronics recently announced the official launch of the STM32N6 series, the first microcontroller with an integrated custom neural processing unit (NPU), achieving up to 600 GOPS of artificial intelligence (AI) computing power. This new microcontroller is based on the Arm Cortex-M55 core, which is the first time STMicroelectronics has adopted this core.
