ION receives $20 million in funding to accelerate commercialization of solid-state batteries

Ion Storage Systems (ION), a US solid-state battery manufacturer, announced that it has received a $20 million grant from the US Department of Energy's Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA-E). The funding will be used for a three-year collaborative project aimed at accelerating the commercialization of its solid-state batteries.
