The development history of Volkswagen Anhui

Volkswagen Anhui was formerly known as JAC Volkswagen, which was established in 2017. After a series of capital increases and name changes, Volkswagen (Anhui) Co., Ltd. was established in 2020, with Volkswagen holding 100% of the operating rights. The development of Volkswagen Anhui has received strong support from the Volkswagen Group, including an investment of approximately 1 billion euros to establish a research and development center.
