Dongfeng Honda executives criticize the quality of domestically produced new energy vehicles

Recently, at a press conference of Dongfeng Honda, Yang Zhonghua, deputy director of its sales department, publicly criticized the irresponsibility of domestically produced new energy vehicles. He accused these automakers of shortening the R&D cycle, lowering product quality standards, and pushing problematic vehicles to the market in order to quickly go to market, posing safety hazards to consumers. He also pointed out that these automakers use luxury configurations in conspicuous places, and use cheap substitutes in inconspicuous places, reducing materials and configurations. Dongfeng Honda's sales in May were 33,002 units, down from 47,208 units in the same period last year. GAC Honda's sales in May were 31,931 units, down 41.31% year-on-year.
