Pure electric heavy-duty trucks dominate the new energy heavy-duty truck market

From January to May 2024, the sales volume of pure electric heavy-duty trucks reached 19,700 units, a year-on-year increase of 142%, accounting for 94.8% of the new energy heavy-duty truck market. Among them, the sales volume of battery-swap pure electric heavy-duty trucks was 6,140 units, a year-on-year increase of 84%. However, due to the high promotion cost and the small number of hydrogen refueling stations, the market growth of hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks was relatively slow, with sales volume of 976 units in the same period, a year-on-year increase of 83%.
