China's cathode material shipments and market structure in 2024

In the first quarter of 2024, China's total shipments of cathode materials reached 574,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 23%. Among them, lithium iron phosphate materials accounted for the largest share, about 370,000 tons, followed by ternary materials (about 156,000 tons), lithium manganese oxide (about 28,000 tons) and lithium carbonate (about 20,000 tons).
