Micron successfully acquires Powertech's Xi'an assets, opening a new chapter

In June 2023, Micron announced an investment of more than RMB 4.3 billion in Xi'an, including the construction of a new plant and the introduction of a new production line. The investment also includes the acquisition of the assets of Powertech Semiconductor (Xi'an) Co., Ltd. and the provision of new contracts to its 1,200 employees. Micron's new plant in Xi'an started construction on March 27 this year, reflecting Micron's commitment to its business in China. Today, Micron successfully held the opening ceremony of the acquisition of Powertech's Xi'an assets, which was witnessed by the teams of both sides.
