LG Energy Solution plans to build eight battery factories in North America

LG Energy Solution has a total of 8 battery factories in North America, with a total planned production capacity of 352GWh. These factories are located in Ohio, Tennessee, Michigan and Arizona. Among them, the first factory in Ohio is currently in a state of continuous and stable production, and the third factory in Michigan is expected to be put into production next year. The Arizona factory is expected to invest US$5.5 billion and is LG Energy Solution's second independent factory in the United States, with a planned production capacity of 53GWh, including 36GWh of 46 series cylindrical batteries for electric vehicles and 17GWh of lithium iron phosphate soft-pack batteries for energy storage systems.
