LG Energy Solution signs LFP battery supply agreement with Ampere

South Korean battery manufacturer LG Energy Solution announced that it will sign a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery supply contract with Renault's electric vehicle subsidiary Ampere. From 2025 to 2030, LGES will provide Ampere with a total of approximately 39GWh of LFP batteries, enough to support the production of approximately 590,000 electric vehicles. These batteries will be produced at LG Energy Solution's plant in Poland to power Ampere's next-generation electric vehicles.
