Waymo launches sixth-generation Robotaxi

Waymo recently released its sixth-generation Robotaxi, a pre-installed mass-produced Robotaxi without a steering wheel or pedals. Compared with previous generations, this generation of Robotaxi is able to drive autonomously in colder cities, which will help the company further expand its scale. In terms of sensor solution configuration, the sixth-generation Robotaxi is equipped with an overhead LiDAR and four short-range LiDARs around the vehicle, as well as a 360-degree vision system and ultrasonic radar.
