Sila opens two production facilities in the U.S.

Sila has established two production facilities in the United States, located in California and Washington State. The two plants are expected to have an annual production capacity of up to 150GWh. The Washington State plant is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2025 and begin delivering products to automotive customers in the fourth quarter of the same year. Sila is a battery material company founded in 2011, and its customers include the upcoming Mercedes-Benz G-Class sedan and Panasonic Energy's next-generation lithium-ion batteries.
