Tesla released its production and delivery report for the second quarter of 2024. The data showed that Tesla's energy storage installed capacity reached 9.4GWh in the quarter, a year-on-year increase of 157% and a month-on-month increase of about 132%, setting a new record for energy storage installed capacity in a single quarter. Tesla Megapack is priced at over $200/kwh. Despite the high price, its sales volume in the second quarter of 2024 was nearly 10Gwh. The company's official website shows that the delivery date of its ultra-large electrochemical commercial energy storage system Megapack is now scheduled to be in the middle of 25 years.
