Azerbaijan government to purchase 200 electric buses per year for local assembly

According to the framework of the agreement, in addition to the first batch of 160 electric buses, the Azerbaijani government will purchase 200 electric buses from BYD each year from 2025 to 2028 and assemble them locally. BYD K9UD electric bus integrates three-electric technology and six-in-one controller, which not only provides a low-carbon travel option, but also improves the operational efficiency of urban public transportation.
