Longteng Optoelectronics recently launched a 12.3-inch in-vehicle four-way anti-peep display panel for the first time, which can be switched freely between private mode and shared mode. In private mode, the co-pilot passenger can watch videos and media content, while the driver cannot see these contents, thus ensuring driving safety. Magneti Marelli has equipped the co-pilot display and central infotainment display with switchable dynamic anti-peep technology in mass-produced vehicles in 2023. The two screens can be integrated on the same cover glass through optical bonding, and the viewing angle can be freely switched between the driver and the passenger to meet the needs of safe and comfortable driving. Both Visteon and Continental are deploying this technology.
