North Microsystems and Avago Technologies reach settlement

On July 3, North Microsystems announced that it had reached a settlement with Avago (now Broadcom) Technologies on all disputes. Both parties have withdrawn and terminated the lawsuits against each other and reached a cross-licensing agreement on certain Chinese patents. Tianjin North was established in 2011 and is the first IDM company in China to build its own factory to produce FBAR filters. When the global FBAR filter market was just starting, Tianjin North had already built its own factory in 2014 to mass-produce the first generation of products.
