GIS is expected to become the supplier of under-screen fingerprint recognition modules for Google Pixel 9 series

It is reported that the under-screen fingerprint recognition module of Google Pixel 9 series may be supplied by GIS. GIS and Qualcomm are long-term partners. The former is responsible for providing ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint recognition sensors and software algorithms, while the latter is responsible for supplying under-screen fingerprint recognition modules. GIS Chairman Zhou Xianying said that the company expects the shipment volume of ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint recognition modules to increase by 50% year-on-year this year. In addition, ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint recognition technology will gradually penetrate into mid-range models.
