Hyundai Motor and LG Energy Solution to establish joint venture for electric vehicle battery plant

Hyundai Motor and South Korean battery manufacturer LG Energy Solution have established a battery cell joint factory in Karawang New Industry City, Indonesia. The joint venture factory, called HLI Green Power, began mass production of battery cells in April this year.
