Xpeng Motors and Volkswagen jointly develop a new electronic and electrical architecture CEA

On April 17, 2024, Xpeng Motors and Volkswagen issued a joint statement that the two parties will sign the latest strategic cooperation framework agreement on electronic and electrical architecture technology and jointly develop a new electronic and electrical architecture - CEA. The CEA architecture is an electronic and electrical architecture based on regional control and quasi-central computing. The new architecture will be jointly developed by Xpeng Motors, Volkswagen (China) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: VCTC) and CARIAD China.
